moment
moment is an exhibition developed during a residency in Hiroshima, exploring memory through site-responsive sculpture and photography. The project began with the collection of discarded materials along the shore- industrial remnants, rusted metal, fragments shaped by the sea. These elements are reassembled into  sculptural forms that evoke both disappearance and resistance. Alongside the sculptures, a series of photographs printed on handmade japanese paper traces the relations between nature and human presence, what makes Hiroshima. Shot on negative, these images oscillate between abstraction and documentation, registering what often escapes visibility.
An artist’s edition accompanies the exhibition, blurring the boundary between archive and artwork, Moment reflects on the temporality of ruin and recovery, and invites viewers to engage with memory as something embedded in matter, gesture, and landscape.
